Rediscover Makiki
In case you missed it, Rep. Della Au Belatti along with Hui o Makiki and Friends of Makiki Community Learning Center http://www.makikicommunity.org/held its annual Rediscover Makiki event in the park. They had ono grindz(sorry,too busy eating,forgot to flick it), games ,keiki rides, topped off with a movie under the stars. This year was a little different. An Urban Art segment was added to the volleyball court side and yours truly was there to paint with some really fresh talent. Jason Southard, Altoe, Eukarezt, and I had a 4' x 5' canvas to do our thing. The Theme: Urban living in Makiki.
